Mr. Ken Hosako

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Hosako is responsible for CAIRE’s global business with operations in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Prior to being named President and CEO, he served as Executive Vice Present of CAIRE since June 2021.

Mr. Hosako was with Niterra Co., Ltd., for over 27 years with increasing levels of responsibility over this time. In 2014, he became President of Niterra Australia PTY. LTD. He became Vice Division Manager of Medical Division at Niterra in 2020 and a board member of NTK MEDICAL CO., LTD in April 2021.


Paul Abbott

Chief Financial Officer

Paul joined CAIRE on April 1, 2023, as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. He comes to CAIRE Inc. with over 25 years of diverse experience including senior financial leadership roles in private equity and multiple industrial sectors including automotive, power generation, and aerospace for both domestic and multinational companies.

He has a strong record of significantly improving operations in private, public and equity-sponsored companies through a common-sense style of financial, operational, and personnel management. Proven areas of expertise include team building, process and performance improvement, financial analysis and reporting, profitability and costs analysis, systems and technology utilization, strategic planning and organization, and negotiations and formal presentations.

Paul delivers strategic guidance that provides the foundation for financial growth and mission attainment. During his tenure in the private equity sector, Paul transformed the multiple finance and corporate strategy organizations from one supporting a single domain into a multifunctional organization encompassing accounting, corporate finance, treasury, corporate planning, and corporate governance operating on a global scale. To enable sustained rapid growth, he implemented recapitalizations and quasi-reorganizations to support the shift in business model while implementing operational efficiencies, establishing financial controls, and protecting quality revenue streams. He also was successful in reducing operating costs, headcount, and close cycle while virtually eliminating turnover.

This combination of private equity and industrial experience coupled with expansive knowledge in global finance and overseas assignments allows Paul to bring a unique perspective to his role at CAIRE.


Wayne Craig

Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Wayne Craig spearheads the commercial strategy and execution across three of CAIRE’s key business units: respiratory devices, direct-to-consumer and commercial products. With over 30 years of leadership experience spanning both international and domestic roles in the medical device industry, Wayne brings a wealth of expertise to this role.

His extensive background includes orchestrating international expansion initiatives, optimizing sales operations and effectiveness, forging strategic partnerships, steering product management efforts, driving demand generation, and meticulously managing brand positioning.

Wayne’s career path includes significant tenures at renowned medical device companies, ranging from dynamic startups backed by private equity to industry giants such as Stryker Surgical, Johnson & Johnson, Intuitive Surgical, and Align Technology (Invisalign).

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, complemented by an MBA from Xavier University.


Ruud Vullers

Executive Vice President of Global Operations

Ruud leads the strategic and tactical direction of CAIRE’s operations including sourcing, supply management, manufacturing, service and distribution worldwide. He has 32 years of experience in supplier management and 22 years in operations management bringing with him a proven track record of success along with global experience in the medical equipment, automotive, aerospace, and defense industries.

Prior to joining CAIRE in August 2023, Ruud served as the Director Main Category Mechanicals globally, and Director Supplier Management Office USA with Sartorius Stedim Inc. He also has held a number of diverse operational roles with multiple major corporations including: GW Lisk; Carestream Health (Kodak Health Imaging Division); XPS BV China, Netherlands and USA; Oce-Technologies Netherlands; and Xerox Holdings Corporation USA and Netherlands.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering as well as numerous certifications including his master’s degree in robust design methods – Taguchi methods, Six Sigma Black Belt, Enterprise Resource Planning, financial management, plastics engineering, quality management, and project management. He trilingual in English, Dutch and German.

Larry Hughes

Mario Bolivar

Vice President of Global Sales, Onsite Generation at AirSep

Having joined CAIRE in February 2023, Mario is responsible for the top-line overall growth and market share for the commercial gas generator AirSep business. He is a successful sales and marketing leader with 30 years’ experience selling compressed air and gas process equipment across a range of end markets including oil and gas, energy, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and industrial markets.

Mario holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western New England University in Springfield, MA. He is fluent in Spanish, and has served as chairman and co-chair for the Nitrogen Generation Section for the Compressed Air & Gas Institute (CAGI). Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles with increasing responsibility including OEM Manager, Marketing Manager, Senior Business Development Manager and National Sales Manager.


William Hampton

Vice President and Global Controller

William joined CAIRE in August 2021 and is responsible for the preparation and analysis of all financial reporting, internal controls, and auditing. He leads the company’s FP&A division and is heavily involved with consolidated P&L management, budgeting, and analysis. Prior to CAIRE, William worked in finance at Home Depot with roles in operations, merchandising, and data analytics. Also, he previously worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington D.C. and has significant experience consulting for private and public clients.

William graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Tennessee, and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Finance from Indiana’s Kelley School of Business. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).


Larry Hughes

Vice President and General Manager of AirSep Commercial Products

Larry started his professional career with the Buffalo Forge Company in Buffalo, NY, where he was recruited for their Sales Engineer Training Program. He then joined Xorbox Corporation in Tonawanda, NY, a manufacturer of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen Equipment as their Director of International Sales.

Leaving Xorbox, Larry helped found AirSep Corporation in 1986 and served on its Board of Directors. As Vice President of Sales, Larry started and expanded the AirSep PSA and Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) Oxygen Commercial Products Business to over 70 countries worldwide, becoming the industry’s market leader.

Larry is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Henry Kobraei

Vice President of Global Research and Development,
Project Management and Regulatory Affairs

Henry joined CAIRE in August of 2023 with the responsibility of product R&D, project management, and regulatory affairs for the companies respiratory and commercial business.

He brings nearly 20 years of demonstrated success across Fortune 500 and startup environments in the ideation, execution, and delivery of novel products in the medical device, consumer, and industrial sectors. He is an experienced inventor with more than 10 granted patents and has led teams to bring products and technology to market in the cardiovascular, neurovascular, high-level disinfection, sterilization, HVAC, home appliance and IoT space at notable companies such as GE, Stryker, and TE Connectivity’s medical CDMO business unit.

Henry holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Henry is certified in project management from the Project Management Institute and Six Sigma as a Green Belt.

Matthew S. Margolies

President of MGC Diagnostics Holdings, Inc. 

Mr. Margolies has a career in the healthcare industry spanning 20 years. He comes to MGC Diagnostics from Cardinal Health, where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the company’s Nuclear Pharmacy team.

Prior to his most recent role, Mr. Margolies worked with CardioNet as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing generating substantial growth in CardioNet’s Cardiac Telemetry business. Prior to CardioNet, he served for four years in a number of positions of increasing responsibility with VIASYS Healthcare, where he ultimately became Division President for the Respiratory Diagnostics group leading the company’s Worldwide Respiratory Diagnostics team. In his role with VIASYS he was responsible for the growth in the Respiratory Diagnostics space that was a component of the $1.6 billion acquisition of VIASYS by Cardinal Health (now Vyaire).

From 1993-2004, Mr. Margolies held Sales and Marketing leadership roles with Covidien Health / Mallinckrodt Imaging. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Yoon Shin

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Yoon Shin joined CAIRE in February 2022 as its General Counsel after more than 20 years of practicing as a corporate attorney. As General Counsel, she is responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of CAIRE’s global business and serves as a strategic partner and contributor to the executive team.

Yoon has a diverse background practicing in New York, Hong Kong and Seattle. She has represented start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in various industries. Prior to joining CAIRE, Yoon was General Counsel at EchoNous, Inc., a KKR portfolio company pioneering in AI-driven ultrasound devices. Yoon is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and Barnard College, Columbia University.

Mr. Keizo “Ken” Furusaki

Director, and Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Niterra Co., Ltd.

Mr. Furusaki currently serves as Senior General Manager of Corporate Planning Department of Niterra Co., Ltd., in Japan. He was one of the key players in their successful commercialization of oxygen sensors for vehicle emission control in Automotive and Solid Oxide Fuel Cells for cleaner power generation with carbon dioxide, or CO2, reduction.

He has led several cross-border alliances with his entrepreneurship throughout his career in Japan, and when he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of its U.S. subsidiary. Currently, he is also a board member of Spirosure, Inc., a start up for asthma care in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mr. Furusaki’s personal driving principle in his work is to “make people breathe easier.”

Keizo Furusaki

Mr. Hiroyuki Maeda

Executive Officer of Niterra Co., Ltd.

Mr. Maeda has been with Niterra Co., Ltd., for over 36 years. He has expanded his role over this time, becoming General Manager, Sensor Planning and Engineering in 2012, and Procurement in 2013. He also has some international experiences in Europe for seven years and in the USA for five years. In 2016, Mr. Maeda became a Corporate Officer. And, in 2019, he became an Executive Officer.
