Next-Gen Application myCAIRE Telehealth Solution Receives New Product Pavilion Provider’s Choice Award
Phoenix, AZ (July 14, 2021) — CAIRE Inc. celebrated the successful US launch of its new myCAIRE™ telehealth solution this week having received the Medtrade West 2021 New Product Pavilion Providers’ Choice Silver Award sponsored by HomeCare Magazine.
Considered to be the largest home medical equipment expo and conference in the US, Medtrade hosted its first show, Medtrade West, since its year-long hiatus. A new location prompted renewed enthusiasm and good attendance by providers who were glad to network and see the latest in product developments since the pandemic shutdowns of late 2020.
“We are delighted to receive this award especially following a year that has tested the grit of everyone in this industry. It has been challenging for all in this business, especially our HME and DME partners,” said Barry Hassett, VP of Global Marketing. “This award from our peers confirms the work we have continued to develop behind the scenes during this period, and celebrates the innovation and advancements that built the CAIRE oxygen therapy portfolio. Our goal is to continue invest in innovative solutions and to be the provider of choice for anyone caring for the oxygen user.”
CAIRE Inc., pioneers of the portable oxygen concentrator and the only global manufacturer covering the entire continuum of care for the oxygen patient, introduced myCAIRE early in July from its corporate headquarters and Respiratory Center of Excellence in Ball Ground, GA.
Designed to increase the efficiency of administering delivery and improve patient care, the application connects to CAIRE’s leading concentrators via the patient’s smart device and simplifies remote data collection through a secure, cloud-based technology in real-time — easily accessible via the medical equipment provider’s desktop.
The myCAIRE application is available through Android, iOS and Surface platforms, and the portal provides customizable views, filtering and search options to view oxygen device data, device notifications, equipment location, and requests sent directly from patients to the provider through the app.
The only telehealth solution offering connectivity to the full spectrum of oxygen care for patients, myCAIRE offers the provider a comprehensive approach to serving the complex healthcare needs of oxygen users and allowing the provider to engage with those patients who require more frequent touchpoints in their case management.
myCAIRE can connect wirelessly to the FreeStyle® Comfort® portable oxygen concentrator, the Eclipse 5® transportable oxygen concentrator, and the Companion 5™ stationary oxygen concentrator. Most newly-prescribed oxygen users utilize a portable or transportable oxygen device to maintain their targeted saturation rate during their daily activities, and an at-home oxygen source — a stationary oxygen concentrator for when they are inside the home — particularly for use while they are at rest.
myCAIRE setup is quick, and users will find the free application easy to use with features allowing them to view settings and notifications, share access with a caregiver, request service from their provider, and access the device user manual.
