SeQual® SAROS

GENERATE. OXYGENATE. EVACUATE.

Originally developed under a cooperative research and development agreement with the U.S. Army, the SAROS Oxygen System was designed to address the logistical and safety challenges associated with high-pressure oxygen cylinders and to be able to provide medical grade oxygen far forward on the battlefield.

Ideal for field hospitals, medical evacuation, en route care and battlefield situations, the SAROS is a battery-operated portable oxygen concentrator capable of providing up to three liters per minute of continuous flow medical grade oxygen. Equipped with CAIRE’s proprietary autoSAT® technology, the SAROS can consistently maintain FiO2 by adjusting to the patient’s respiratory rate.

Approved for land, air and sea use, these units operate in the harshest environments. The SAROS has 510(k) clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and meets Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for medical evacuation on Black Hawk helicopters and commercial air flights.

Its traditional cylindrical shape makes it ideal for placing on the stretcher with the patient, and for storage on existing oxygen storage racks for cylinders commonly found in emergency transport vehicles.

Robust and reliable in extreme temperatures
Use in harsh conditions (sand & dust)
High operating altitudes, up to 18,000 feet
Up to 90 minutes of battery operation

Oxygenate
The use of bottled oxygen on and around the battlefield creates multiple problems – running out of oxygen, air/ground transportation, logistical supply and resupply, bottle exchange and personal endangerment.

No running out of oxygen
Produces 3,000 mL of oxygen
AC, DC and Battery power operation
Pulse Dose Mode with autoSAT® Technology
